In 1979, George Martin opened his own firm with one clear goal: to defend and protect injured workers. Today, Martin Banks is one of the few firms in Pennsylvania that restricts its practice to areas that focus on protecting the rights of injured and disabled workers, including workers' compensation, Social Security Disability and long-term disability. We are the largest firm in the state that only represents injured workers.
In recent years we created and steadily built a strong practice assisting people with Social Security Disability, a natural complement to our work injury practice. (Many of our clients receive both workers' comp and SSD.)
We don't "dabble" in disability claims. Our Social Security Disability department is led by attorney Joseph Capitan. He practices exclusively in this complex and specialized field, as do our team members and support staff who assist Social Security claimants.
