JOSEPH D. CAPITAN is an associate at the firm and focuses his practice primarily on Social Security Disability law while also developing a Long Term Disability practice. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Capitan was a contract negotiator for a research company. He was also a teacher of language arts and civics at a middle school in Florida. Previous to that he worked for a disability insurance law firm in Florida for two years.
In 2006, Mr. Capitan earned his law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, where he was a research assistant. He also clerked for the Kent County Attorney General's Office. He earned his bachelor of arts degree in English from Bucknell University in 2003. Mr. Capitan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania New Jersey, Florida and New York. He is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association.
